NORDRE roasting machines are powered by pellets* which are a sustainable and CO2 neutral energy source. Pellets can also be significantly cheaper than traditional roasting energy sources like gas and electricity. * Wood pellets is the most common type, but pellets produced from other materials can also be used. Reach out to us if you want to develop your own pellet fuel for your NORDRE machine together with the manufacturer of our burner.
Built in chaff destruction
Save the time and the disposal costs caused by chaff handling with our unique combustion cycle design. NORDRE machines integrate the chaff released from the coffee beans during roasting into the combustion cycle of the pellet burner.
